About

A History of The Club

The club was launched as Erith Veterans Club in December 1942 at The Avenue Hall, Avenue Road, Erith and was established to cater for men over 60 who were retired and  looking for friendship and companionship with fellow retirees.

The club relocated to Park Crescent in December 1956, where it has remained since. Over the years the club has seen many changes. We invite and welcome mature men and women from the local and surrounding areas to join us in our many activities.

The club is normally open Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday and Sunday (see opening times for details).

In May 2025 the club changed its name to Erith Community Activities Club and was granted charitable status by the Charities Commission.
