Looking for a lively and welcoming place to connect? We're a community focused charity right here in Erith, dedicated to offering fantastic social activities for Mature adults.

We're all about promoting physical and mental well-being through enjoyable recreational and social events. Our club offers spaces and facilities designed for various activities that boost physical health, cognitive engagement, social connection, and overall well-being.

Primarily for older people, our activities are crafted to help combat loneliness, improve mental and physical well-being, and enable everyone to stay active and engaged.  

We aim to foster a wonderful sense of camaraderie among our members, creating a supportive and friendly atmosphere for everyone.

 Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities – we're proud to provide a safe space for you to play and have a great time!

With a variety of activities on offer and a convenient car park, we can't wait to welcome you.  

Club Opening Hours

These are the usual opening hours of the club
(subject to a keyholder being present)

Monday  09:00 - 16:00
Tuesday  10:00 - 20:30
Wednesday  09:00 - 21:30
Thursday  09:00 - 17:00
Friday  09:00 - 21:30
Saturday when required
Sunday when required

The club may open at other times as required for additional activities or events or if a key holder is present.

Our Activities

These are our most popular and well attended activities. We are open to suggestions for introducing new activities that meet our charitable purposes.

Table Tennis

We have an excellent group of friendly, fun loving people with multiple playing levels.
Balls and some bats, tea and coffee are available.

Snooker

The club has a dedicated snooker room with four full sized snooker tables and plenty of rack cues available in case you don't have your own cue.

Short Mat Bowls

Short Mat Bowls takes place in the large hall. We have two mats playing at the same time.

Line Dancing

Line Dancing takes place in the large hall on Fridays. No experience needed.

Knit n Natter

You can bring along your favourite hobby or just come for a chat. Learn something new from other members or show others how it's done. tea and coffee are available.

Singing

Do you like to sing around the house, in the bath, or anywhere else? Why not come along and join us.
We sing songs from most decades and musicals with backing tracks.
Men and women are welcome.

Cards and Table Top Games

Come along and have a game of Canasta or Whist.

Get Involved

There are always little jobs to do around the club. From gardening to helping out with activities.

Becoming a Member

If you are a mature adult and would like to join the club, you can pick up a membership form by visiting the club in person or telephone 01322-342137.

All new membership applications have to be approved by the Secretary. Membership is currently £25.00 per annum and there is an activity fee of £2.00 per session for members which includes free tea and coffee.

(non-members activity fee is £3.00)
